Gordon Keith comes from a long line of Starfleet NCOs. Joining Starfleet was his goal ever since he was a little boy. He joined Starfleet the day he turned 17 and worked his way up the ranks, primarily in Operations but with occasional postings in Engineering. From the start, Keith has seen combat, first in the Dominion War shortly after he made Petty Officer 3rd, and then rapidly rising to Petty Officer 1st. During the Rukakon War, his ship was destroyed and his escape pod was captured. He spent 6 months as a POW before being released at the end of the war when he was assigned to Outpost 112. He has recently completed his testing for Chief Petty Officer and is waiting for a Chief's position to become available.

Personality Traits
Serious and task-oriented on-duty, PO1C Keith doesn't put up with much nonsense. Getting the job done to standard and maintaining those standards are important. Always willing to train subordinates in both the written and unwritten rules of Starfleet, Keith is a classic NCO.

Off duty, while still fairly reserved, Keith enjoys a number of more rambunctious pursuits including hockey and rugby.
